Phillip Wilson, president & broker of Wilson Management
Group, Inc., received his real estate license in 1984 and has been
exclusively in the residential property management business since
the beginning of his real estate career. He was trained by a friend & colleague
and began managing approximately 30 rental properties in 1984. He
received his broker's license in 1986 and opened his own office that
same year with about 150 properties under management. Over the years
the business has grown steadily and the WMGi office currently manages
approximately 725 properties and employs 12 personnel.
In 1995 he was introduced to the National Association of Residential
Property Managers (NARPM) and immediately joined the local
chapter as one of the charter members. When the Florida Association
of Residential Property Managers (FARPM) was organized in 1999
he became one of its charter members also. He has been active
in the local NARPM chapter by chairing the Membership Committee
in 1998, the Education Committee in 1999, serving as 2nd Vice-President
in 2000, as President-Elect in 2001, President in 2002, and
as Past President in 2003.
The primary goals of the Wilson Management Group, Inc. office
are to provide quality services to all persons associated
with WMGi, to promote good tenancy & positive tenant relations,
to provide quality services to owners/investors, to provide
quality service to all clientele while operating within the
guidelines of the Florida Department of Real Estate and Federal
Fair Housing Regulations, to maintain the ethics and standards
outlined by the National Residential Association of Property
Managers® (NARPM) and the Florida Association of Residential
Property Managers® (FARPM), to associate with and use only
competent workers, to maintain a positive work environment
for WMGi personnel and to encourage personnel growth, and
to continually promote education for all WMGi personnel.
